The devices prevent air exchange and contribute significantly to energy saving where there are frequently opened doors. The EVOLVENT ® nozzle system uses about 40% less energy, with the same screening performance, as a lamella device. .

Mode of operations
When opening the cool store door the air curtain system
turns itself on using a door contact switch.
Using one or a multiple double-pass radial ventilators and by means of the pressure-chamber nozzle system a continuous air current, with a high screening output, is placed in front of the complete door opening (air barrier). The power size and width of the device depend on the height of the door. |

The height of the cool store and the temperature difference between the vestibule and the cool store. An adaptation to the operating conditions can be undertaken by manually adjusting the air blow-out angle or changing the air volume (using the speed controller, 5-stage). The width of the device should be at least the width of the clear thoroughfare.
Implementation
■ Torsion-resistant housing construction made of non-rusting
stainless steel 1.4301 with bare surface in combination with
anodised aluminium profiles and end caps.
■ Installation of all devices above the door, on the wall or ceiling
(using M10 rivet nuts with internal threads, each 4 pieces up to
construction length 2,5m each 6 pieces) . On request wall
bracket elements for thermal bridge free installation on
insulation walls and delivery is possible.
■ Air current element: air blow-out angle is manually adjustable
in the angle area, from +40°/-40°, by means of pressure-chamber
nozzle system using the air blow-out roller.
■ Blowers: one or multiple vibration free mounted, double-pass,
direct drive radial ventilators, multiple bladed and operating with
low noise high delivery pressure. The blower motors are splash
water protected. Protection grade IP 54. .
Controller
The machines can be delivered either with or without an electronic controller. The first case the motor cables and the thermo contacts are fitted into a built in control box. The controller (5-stage) can be found in a steel plate casing, ready to be connected, with a transformer, main switch, tap changer (5-stage), motor protection using thermal contacts and signal lights. (Additional delivery of pedestal possible if requested). |
